Vision of Vallalar Adhiyinam

Our Vision

Our vision is to spread the Sanmarga education (Nayagan-Nayagi Bavanai) to every human being across the world through the ancient Gurukula tradition, whence they may realise their true self (Eternal Truth + Pure Consciousness + Supreme Bliss).

Ancient Gurukula Tradition's Wisdom Preceptor

Shri Sivagurunatha Desikar

Shri Sivagurunatha Desikar — Founder of Vallalar Adhiyinam

From a very young age, our Guru, Shri Sivagurunatha Desikar, accepted Vallal Peruman as his mental preceptor. Connecting with the Divine through intuition, he has been sharing profound universal truths with the world.

Through the ancient Gurukula tradition, he reveals the deep mysteries of human functioning, the purpose of human life, and the secrets of birth and death. His teachings encompass the path to Deathless Great Life (Maranamilla Peruvazhvu), the ultimate truths about the Being (Jivan), the Soul (Atman), the Almighty, and the Universe, as well as the rare secrets of their interconnectedness.

Operating as a divine field where the Almighty manifests through intuitive mastery, he provides these universal truths to the world through the organization Vallalar Adhiyinam. For those who have attained spiritual maturity, he also grants Thiruvadi Gnanam and Thiruvadi Deeksha (Sacred Initiation).

Come!

By the Grace of the Guru and the Supreme Infinite Grace, let us dispel the darkness of ignorance and realize the supreme wisdom known as Olineri (The Path of Light).

Significance of the Divine Emblem

The Symbolism of the Path of Light

The Emblem of Vallalar Adhiyinam

The form of "Dakshinamurthy" (the South-facing God) is a symbolic representation that points to the inherent nature of a Wisdom Preceptor (Guru). Among the extensive teachings conveyed by that form, the symbol of the primordial core is the "Chinmudra."

Chinmudra: The policy emblem of the Olineri Peedam is the "Chinmudra." "Chin" refers to the Great Light (Arutperunjothi), representing Supreme Intelligence as the source of all. "Mudra" signifies a sign or identity, also representing the removal of concealments.

Light within you, Realize to see True: The phrase "The Light Within" indicates that this divine nature resides as the primordial stimulus within us. The purpose of human existence is to grasp this stimulus through intuition and attain clarity, expressed as "Realize to see True."

Compassion, Humility, Sharing: Every natural movement has three centers: stimulus, action, and relation. In matured human functioning, these are Divine Grace, Soulful movement, and Interdependence, represented by the values of Compassion, Humility, and Sharing.

Thiruvatchi: The flaming circle surrounding the Chinmudra is the Thiruvatchi (Holy Sight). It represents the eye-light of supreme purity and is a symbol of the traditional Thiruvadi Gnanam (Sacred Wisdom).

The Seven Flames: The Seven Flames situated within the circular Thiruvatchi, represent seven distinct levels of wave-state movements. This grand universal movement is fundamentally wave-like in nature. In this wave-state, Light (Intelligence) serves as the stimulus, while Sound (Movement) serves as the functional action. The combination of these two elements constitutes the universal wave-state movement, which spans seven levels—from the most infinitesimal subtlety to the state of gross matter.

The Sun: We live with this Earth as our center, while the Earth revolves with the Sun as its center. It is because of the Sun's rays that all living beings in the world exist. Our ancestors have practiced this Sun worship for a long period. That is the "Gayatri Mantra" (I worship the Grand Effulgence that provides Light to the sunlight). This very sunlight is nothing bu the Infinite Grace Light (Arutperunjothi) brought into functional movement.

Om: Om is the combined movement of three sounds: "A", "U", and "M". These three sounds represent the wave-state vibrations of the primordial movements of the universe. The stimulus-state center sound is "A", the functional-state center sound is "U", and the relational-state center sound is "M"

Olineri Peedam: Olineri Peedam is the foundation established to bring the Olineri (Path of Light), traditionally followed by our ancestors, to the awareness of the entire world.
